When you have a store as large as ours, it is extremely important to have skilled, good people to work with. That is why over the years we have built up a network of skilled professionals in France who help us find beautiful, antique French goods for you.
We also find our treasures at the major professional fairs around France. At the annual fairs, the most skilled French brocanteurs gather, bringing their best things with them.
These markets are very special and a clear highlight for us in our annual calendar.
Love for French vintage
Our love for France and for French things goes back a long way.
For Mikkel, it started on a trip to France many years ago. Furthermore, his grandfather was an art critic, so the love for old fine things started at a very early age.
For Katerina, this love also comes from a long way back. As a child she lived with her family in Normandy, and subsequently for many years all summers were spent in the South of France.
It is a great love for both the country, the culture, the food, traditions, the language and not least the craftsmanship that has drawn us both to go all in and live full-time as professional treasure hunters and brocanteurs.
Now we have found our dream home in the middle of France and now divide our time between the shop and life in Skagen and the French dream in France. A perfect distribution, if you ask us. Read more about our passion for French finds here .
