At Bellevue Vintage you will find the authentic old, the French and the things that give personality and character to your home and your business. We primarily find our champagne and wine things in Champagne in the northeastern part of France in the area around the capital city of Reims. This is where the Champagne comes from and therefore also where there are really nice old champagne things such as coolers, crystal glasses and flutes, desks - wine racks that are used in the champagne houses for the champagne for the first 3 weeks it is in the bottle. However, there are also many beautiful French champagne and bar things in the rest of France and in the large wine regions we find the beautiful old grape picking baskets and vessels. Many of the wine coolers and amazing French antique and vintage wine glasses we find, we find throughout France. And when we are now off on a shopping trip to France, we love to look for the more special finds. The large exhibition champagne bottles available in both plastic and real glass. The beautiful old dessert carts / bar carts, the oldest of which we have date back to the 1920s and up to the 1960s. They are available in many different materials and with more or less bling and crumb clocks. What the wagons we select have in common is that they are all old and authentic and each of them can do something very special. They are so nice in the modern Nordic decor. We also find the old French corkscrews, the French crystal and glass decanters – where the oldest we have found are more than 150 years old.
Mikkel is personally obsessed with the French aperitif and enjoys having an Apero when we are in France. Perhaps also for this reason, it is something we particularly look for when we are on shopping trips, and we always have a nice selection of French things for the aperitif – different jugs for water in both glass and earthenware and the special glasses from many of the French pastis brands such as Berger, Pastis 51, Ricard, etc. You will also find the antique absinthe glasses at Bellevue Vintage. And they are among our own personal favorites when we talk about them French antique glass.
